1. Submissions

We welcome submissions of original fiction, poetry, and personal essays or memoirs. By submitting your work, you agree that:

• The work is your own and not generated by AI.
  
  
• You retain copyright, but grant us first publication and digital rights to display your accepted work on our platform.
  
  
• You understand we offer a payment of $100 USD for each accepted piece.
  
  
• You agree not to submit plagiarized or previously published material without disclosure.
  
  

2. Reading Fees

Each submission includes a $5 reading fee, which helps us cover administrative and editorial costs. This fee is non-refundable, even if your work is not accepted.

3. Payment Terms

We pay accepted contributors via PayPal, E-transfer, Direct Deposit, or Cheque in USD. All payments are processed after acceptance and publication confirmation.

4. Rights

Upon acceptance, you grant Lionsgate Literature:

• First worldwide online publication rights.
  
  
• The right to archive your work on our website indefinitely.
  
  
• The right to promote your work on our social media or newsletters (with proper credit).
  
  

All other rights remain with the author.

5. Withdrawing Submissions

If you wish to withdraw your submission, please email us with the subject line:
“Withdraw – [Your Name] – [Title of Work]”
If your work is accepted elsewhere, you must notify us immediately.

6. Code of Conduct

You agree to use this Site respectfully. You may not:

• Use the Site for unlawful purposes.
  
  
• Distribute malware or harmful content.
  
  
• Harass or infringe upon others’ rights.
  
  

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site—including logo, formatting, and design—is the property of Lionsgate Literature or its contributors and is protected under intellectual property law.

We do our best to respond to submissions within 4–6 weeks. However, delays may occur, and we make no guarantees about response times or acceptance.

9. Limitation of Liability

Lionsgate Literature shall not be held liable for any damages arising from use of the Site or from submission-related decisions.

We may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
